A little walk today

Monday 26 Jan

The roads are clear, but not the footpaths, except where owners have salted or shovelled the snow and ice.

So cars, trucks, and emergency vehicles are a higher priority than pedestrians. But even paramedics, police and firefighters have to get out of their vehicles and onto the footpath to do their work.

Up and over the frozen snow and ice to cross the road.

Not much demand for share bikes today.

The Potomac River

Looking up King Street. This part is pedestrianised.

Iced coffee?

And the forecast low is -18 for tomorrow at 7am.
