Adelaide - Mount Lofty

A walk up and down Mount Lofty, about 12 Kms.

Very pretty plants.

I think these may be orchids. A perfect french curve.

And some magnificent fungi below.

Near the summit, on part of the Heysen Trail.

Flinders column. Apparently Matthew Flinders during his circumnavigation of Australia saw and named Mount Lofty from Kangaroo Island, which is miles away, in 1802, just after his 28th birthday.
