What's next?

Change is the one constant - that's well known. But we don't have crystal balls or other devices - yet - to see into the future despite the warping of time in quantum physics.

So it seems international law has been breached again, this time by the USA removing Maduro and his wife from Venezuela.

Perhaps next is Greenland, or Taiwan, or Mongolia, a Baltic state, or the further expansion of Israel. Or Panama and its Canal that carries so much US shipping. Who knows, but the precedents have been set.

Is Australia at risk?

From China or the USA?

Australia is resource rich, a small population with a small defence force, and who would help us?

Maybe the USA would lend aid in the event of a Chinese invasion, maybe.

But maybe Australia is the next Greenland. We're geographically and strategically placed for the USA.

And would Australia accept a US takeover without resistance? Unlike Greenland Australia doesn't have a Europe to help.

Australia is outside the ‘Donroe Doctrine’ that applies to the western hemisphere.

So maybe Australia and NZ can slip beneath the USA radar for its next target, for now.
