It's chaos.

All the little things: my leatherman must go in with checked luggage. I'll do it now. Done. Website - get more familiar with how it'll best work. Buy domain name. What to choose? What will we have for dinner? Where's the time to get bike fit? The bike is half packed and I don't really like the gym. And it's pouring rain most days anyway.

Pack for skiiing. I’m back only a few days before we leave - eek. It’s going to be tight.

I’ve bought a new bike case so have to repack the bike. Decide what few clothes to take.

How will we go at US Border Control? There are such dreadful stories of people being deported back; and insurance doesn’t cover that.

So I slow my breathing, drop my left shoulder down to where it should be (not hoiked up to my ear), and do what I can. Bit by bit. And whatever is not done…hopefully won’t be a total disaster.
